Bear Scat Cookies

Courtesy of Lauren Koshere -
While hiking in Yellowstone's Gallatin Range, Lauren Koshere once spotted a grizzly about a hundred yards from her. Fortunately, she only had to reckon with the bear's scat in the trail after it ran away in the opposite direction. These cookies bring back memories of that encounter, one of her favorite backcountry experiences.
