The best way to go..Of course the jet-boil i have is great but by adding the coffee press it lets me start my days well caffeinated. How do you start your days on the trail? Service was great and all went just as it should. $$ was just what i expected and of course it came right on time.
Thanks for all,

Decent for back country coffee makingWhile this method does not produce coffee as high as quality as my 10 pound automatic coffee grinder/brewer in the kitchen it does make me grateful for being able to enjoy coffee in the back country. I'll openly admit I have not yet mastered the appropriate proportions of coffee:water and grind size for my preference, I do see the potential for it to make a great cup. I use another product to grind up fresh beans, boil water in the Jet Boil, remove from heat, pour the ground coffee into the jetboil, let sit for 3-5 minutes while stirring occasionally, use the coffee press to push all the grounds to the bottom, and finally pour out the coffee through the strainer end (does a good job of catching any residual grounds) into another mug, and enjoy. The coffee press is very small and light, I just wish it could fit inside the actual MicroMo.
If a piece of the press is lost, is it possible to get a replacement sent out? I have the sumo and the coffee press for it but have lost the black job that goes on top.

I'm curious as to the size (diameter) of the base of this press. I'm looking to retrofit another manufacturers cook pot with a press. Need to know what size pot diameter this will fit it.

Hey Doc64, here are the diameters of both our coffee press options, however we cant guarantee they will work with other manufacturer vessels. Both were specially designed to work in conjunction with our Jetboil vessels.
• Coffee Press: 100mm
• Grande Coffee Press: 118mm
