What’s the difference in size between the Sol ti .8l and the zip .8l? Dimensions? Also have you discontinued the Sol, specifically the titanium versions? Thanks much!!

Asked by: 7Cal7
Hello, Thank you for reaching out! The main difference between the SOL Ti and the Zip would be the ignition, The SOL had the push button, where the Zip is match ignition. There was no difference in size ( 4.1" x 6.5".) The Zip is also an anodized Aluminum as we no longer carry the Titanium cups in any of our stoves. We no longer carry the SOL but if you are looking for a system with the .8L cup and push button ignition, check out the MicroMo. This has the same 2 minute 15 second boil time as the SOL but has the added simmer control that the SOL did not.

Hi there, do you know if either a Jetboil 1.0 L FluxRing Tall or .8 L FluxRing Aluminum Spare Cup would work with a JetBoil Sol Titanium (AGA-6948)?

Asked by: Michelle
Hi Michelle, Thank you for your inquiry! Yes, the majority of our burners are designed to be compatible with our spare cups. Both the 1 L Tall and the .8 L Fluxring cups will work with your Sol burner :)
