MicroMo Cooking System - Storm is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from 2nd Jetboil purchase, stillamazing! This is my second purchase of a Jetboil product. First use was on a recent backpack trip. At 6,200 feet elevation, the burner ignited right away and boiled a cup of water in less than a minute. If you are looking for a lightweight, reliable and efficient stove, this is it. I will continue to not only use Jetboil products, I will continue to recommend them as well. The Micro Mo is awesome!

I know it says the pot/cup is .8 litres, is this how much it safely boils or is that some other measurement? If it isn't, how much does it boil at a time? Same question for the minimo.

Asked by: Wandering canuck
Hello, Thank you for reaching out! The answer would be 16oz for both.

My lid does not latch onto the micromo. Is this normal? I have tried replacing the lid with the same result

Hi, I have the micromo and the lid keeps falling off, if its not packed well everything falls out. Can you recommend a light weight bag or case that would hold it all together before going into my rucksack?

Asked by: Anghus
When packed properly, the lid won’t fall off. Proper = 1) canister support flat side down 2) fuel canister upside down with orange plastic cap removed. 3) stove, upside down. Packed in that order, nothing protrudes above the cup rim and cap won’t fall off. (The orange plastic canister cap is never again needed once the canister starts being used.

Does the listed weight include a full fuel canister, or is it the burner and pot only?

Asked by: fugalster
Hello :) Thank you for your interest in the MicroMo and thanks for the great response that was given! The weight provided is of the system excluding the fuel and fuel stabilizer.

Does the inside of the cup use a non-stick surface that uses chemicals such as Perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA)? Thanks.

Asked by: OutHikin
Hello, Thanks for asking! The Jetboil cooking vessels use a hard anodized aluminum. There are no PFOAs in the anodizing process, This is not a plating but a process that forms a layer of aluminum oxide on the aluminum itself.

I have a sumo. It was on sale & I was just getting in to camping.  I do group trips a few times a year, but most of what I do now is solo backpacking where I add 2 boiling cups to freeze-dried meals. Can I just buy a smaller cup to take solo? The 1 litre?

Asked by: KBpug
Hello, Thank you for reaching out! Yes :) All of the spare cups are compatible with your Sumo burner!
