Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very excited about this purchase! Bought this a month ago and recieved it within 48 hours of placing the order! Fastest free shipping I ever had! The product came in prestine packaging and looks sturdy and well constructed. It feels lighter than I expected, which is a pleasant surprise since it means less weight to haul in my backpack. Haven't used it in the field yet, but I had to test it out as soon as I got it. Hooked up a canister and it started right up on the first try. And let me tell you, this thing can really throw some heat! I had water boiling in almost two minutes flat! The simmer control seems to work well. Can't say anything bad about it. Got the alpine kit as well to ensure that wind will be a nonissue. Everything packs nicely inside. Very nice piece of kit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Delicate Monster I've had one of these for a few years now that I bought at REI. It's a delicate monster that will boil water faster than you think! But you need to take care of it because it's a delicate highly efficient machine. Things will break on it if you are too rough with it. As in knocking it around/dropping/banging it around/ect. The craziest thing I've used it for is as a hot water heater for taking showers, in the middle of winter, in the middle of nowhere. It's a natural for cooking pasta. Not so for rice from scratch. First thing to break on mine was the spark wire on top that ignites the fuel from the igniter. Second the legs bent a little. Third, the insulating sleeve melted. Fourth, problems with the regulator where I have to keep adjusting to keep it at a certain level. Despite this I'm almost ready to buy another one as a replacement. Last week I melted snow to make Top Ramen. So remember to be delicate with her.

Live permanently on a sailboat, currently cruising thru Malaysia and Thailand. I am looking for a gimbal mount stove for use while sailing. I saw a photo of one with y'all's logo but it's not on your website ? Is there one available ?

Asked by: Captain
Hello There Captain :) Thank you for inquiry and interest in our products! I am sorry to say that we do not currently offer a Gimbal Mount for our Jetboil units. We recommend usage on a flat and steady surface.

Does the joule have a pot support so you can use a pan on top of it?

Asked by: Brock
Hi Brock, Thank you for your question. The Joule is a great product with amazing performance, it is considered as a self contained unit and is not compatible with the pots supports offered for our other products.
